The voting has now closed and with over 5,000 votes cast we are currently in the process of counting all the votes before we announce the finalists. So, a huge thank you to everyone who voted and shared our posts over the last few months. These awards were started to help celebrate the town we call home and we have been overwhelmed by the response so far and we can only see this getting bigger and better.
What happens next?
For each category we will be announcing the most popular three or five as finalists depending on the number of entrants in each category. We will then be judging each category to choose the winners.
What will the winners and finalists get?
The judges will choose a winner and one highly commended if there are three finalists or up to two highly commended if there are five finalists. Everyone will get a certificate and the winners will get a trophy as well.
Will there be any more categories, or is that it?
We are currently exploring some popular vote only award categories that would be open just for voting and the winners would be announced at the ceremony. We are looking at how the logistics would work for this to make sure that it is as fair as possible.
When will the Horsham Life Awards winners be announced?
We are currently in the process of arranging a date and venue for the awards ceremony when we will announce the winners. Watch this space.
Will there be any cost involved in attending the awards ceremony?
We’d love to say it will be free but we will need to cover our costs. Pricing will be announce when the date and the venue is announced. We will try and keep it affordable. We expect to be able to offer tickets at a discount compared to the public.
Can we sponsor an award or the awards?
If you’d like to help to keep the costs down and get up to a years’ worth of awesome awareness for your brand. Then get in touch. We can talk to see if it would be mutually beneficial. We are also looking at opportunities for swag bags for the finalists.
